Benefits Information Network

The Benefits Information Network (BIN) is improving the ability of people with disabilities to use and access federal and state work incentives by providing an informed, efficient network of Indiana benefits information counselors and organizations that provide disability support services.

Funded by Indiana Vocational Rehabilitation Services and administered through the Center on Community Living and Careers, the BIN:

  • provides a comprehensive curriculum for BIN training;
  • trains BIN liaisons and ensures that they have a thorough knowledge and understanding of the programs;
  • disseminates information on federal and state work incentives and provides regular updates to BIN liaisons; and 
  • provides ongoing training and technical assistance to BIN liaisons on work incentives and community resources enhancing employment.

2015 Benefits Trainings

The Center on Community Living and Careers provides certification training as well as informational trainings for professionals, people with disabilities, and families on benefits counseling, the impact of work and earnings on benefits, and on Social Security eligibility.
