UPCOMING
ADA-INDIANA AUDIO CONFERENCE: This week, ADA-Indiana will host an audio conference on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 from 2:00-3:30 p.m. (Eastern), focusing on disability statistics. Where does the 54 million Americans living with a disability number come from? Why are there different numbers for the unemployment rate of people with disabilities? Plan to attend this month’s ADA Audio Conference if you want to find out the answers to these questions.
Andrew Houtenville, from the University of New Hampshire, will cover some of the most frequently asked questions about statistics including what are the various sources of statistics related to disability, and how to use and interpret them. He will also discuss what kind of disability-related statistics we can expect from the 2010 Census.
There are 12 site locations hosting this audio conference and they include Bloomington, Columbus, Evansville, Fort Wayne, Gary, Indianapolis, Kokomo, Merrillville, Muncie, Terre Haute, Vincennes, and West Lafayette. Click
