ACROSS INDIANA

IPAS Logo

IDENTIFYING CRITICAL BARRIERS
: Indiana Protection and Advocacy Services (IPAS) is seeking input from the disability community about what people feel are the greatest barriers that should be considered in targeting their advocacy efforts. IPAS believes that with appropriate services and supports, people with disabilities can live, learn, work, and participate in all aspects of the community. Because resources are limited, however, IPAS must focus its work on areas where its advocacy efforts and case selection may have the greatest impact.

To gather the information and determine their priorities, IPAS has commissioned the Institute’s Center for Planning and Policy Studies to implement an online survey. To respond to the Critical Barriers Survey, simply go to this website at  http://www.thepollingplace.org.

If you would like a print copy of the survey or other alternative formats, please contact Vicki Pappas or Jeffrey Chait at the Institute at (812) 855-6508 or e-mail cpps@indiana.edu.
