CASCI Volunteer Advocates: Citizen Advocacy of South-Central Indiana, Inc. (CASCI) has several people on the wait list for a volunteer advocate. Advocates fill many roles in the lives of their partners, first and foremost, that of friendship.
To encourage the Bloomington community to reach out to those with disabilities, as well as providing “Partners in Waiting” an opportunity for fun and socializing, CASCI will host a Bridge the Gap activity on Saturday, June 25, from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Bloomington. The church is fully accessible, parking is ample, and on the bus route.
CASCI is seeking volunteers from the community to be a “Friend for a Day” at this event. Thirty volunteers are needed to make this first “Bridge the Gap” event a success. If you are interested in participating, contact Coordinator, Diana Reynolds at
casci.inc@gmail.com to register. Advanced registration is required.
