Alliance for Full Participation Podcast Script: Greetings and welcome to the Indiana Institute’s In the Spotlight Podcast. The National Alliance for Full Participation (AFP) is interested in how Indiana and other states are doing on the path to the ambitious goal of 50% employment of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in five years.

Across the nation, state teams are measuring how well their state performs in relation to the policies, practices, and strategies that increase competitive employment opportunities. AFP has created a “scorecard” of possible benchmarks for state Alliances. Developed under the guidance of AFP's Advisory Council, the scorecard is based on the industry's leading practices and measures key processes, policies, and programmatic areas essential to building an environment that supports employment growth.

The answers on this scorecard will help Indiana identify priorities and set goals for employment initiatives, as well as outline a strategy for doubling our state’s rate of integrated employment by the year 2015.

If you are interested in having your voice heard, you can participate in the process by completing this Scorecard survey by visiting our website at www.iidc.indiana.edu and clicking on the Indiana Alliance for Full Participation link in the right hand column of the webpage.
