Each of us has a strong need for companionship and relationship with others. Individuals with autism spectrum disorders share those feelings. They want friends and relationships but the social aspect of their life is one of their greatest challenges. In this video, individuals discuss the various social difficulties they experience, such as being bullied, missing social cues, and following and maintaining conversations. Strategies for supporting social interactions are highlighted.
