Welcome

Welcome to the Center for Disability Information & Referral, the Library at the Indiana Institute on Disability and Community, located in Bloomington, Indiana, on the Indiana University campus. CeDIR strives to be the primary disability library for residents of the state of Indiana by providing access to appropriate, quality materials and services. Whether you're a person with a disability, someone who supports people with disabilities, or a researcher in the field, CeDIR can help meet your information needs.

CeDIR has a lending library of approximately 8,000 books, kits, videos, and DVDs that are available to borrow by anyone in Indiana. Our materials cover issues impacting the lives of people with disabilities from birth through the aging process. Information is available on topics such as diagnosis, daily living, assistive technology, disability rights, education, employment, community living, early intervention, child care and more.

Our materials are searchable through the Indiana University Libraries online catalog, IUCat, at http://www.iucat.iu.edu or by clicking on the "Search Library Collection" link on the left navigation bar. Feel free to contact us to request materials or ask about the availability of items. We are happy to help.
