What
is Indiana AccessIT
The Indiana Institute on Disability and Community at Indiana
University in Bloomington provides
information and technical assistance for Indiana's
institutions of
higher education (IHE's) and other postsecondary educational
systems in the area of accessible education-related information
technology.
The
Institute will be working on the following objectives:
- Establish
and build relationships among IT professionals
within Indiana's IHE's
and other postsecondary systems.
- Publicize
the Institute's availability as a resource
for accessible IT to Indiana's
institutions of higher education and other postsecondary
educational systems.
- Disseminate
information to key stakeholders in Indiana's
IHE's and other
postsecondary educational systems based on materials and
information provided by
the national AccessIT and the Great Lakes ADA Center.
