The site for the Indiana Resource Center for Autism, a part of the Indiana Institute on Disability and Community, features articles written by Temple Grandin, Ph.D. and a training calendar for 2007-2008 on its homepage. One of its links, "Selected List of Videos," highlights resources with topics that relate to autism, including early intervention, treatment options, medical issues, behavior, and communication. The site's other links provide access to conference information, database searches, research, and Indiana Institute publications. The text can be viewed in both English and Spanish.

Asperger Syndrome Education Network

ASPEN, or the Asperger syndrome information network, features a list of recommended readings and videos about Asperger syndrome and sites through which they are available for purchase. Here, one can locate local chapters, become a member of ASPEN, and learn about upcoming events. Individuals can also view Asperger-related news articles and become educated about the main characteristics of this condition.

First Signs

Organized by format, the First Signs "Resources" link provides articles, books, websites, videos, and DVDs that relate to autism and pervasive development disorders. The site's "In Your State" link points out the autism-related services offered by resources in Alabama, Delaware, Minnesota, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Wisconsin, and the "What's New and Worth Knowing About" section on the homepage keeps users up to date with special offers and upcoming events. This website's main links, entitled "Concerns About a Child," "Screening," and "Diagnosis and Treatment" offer additional information for parents and professionals.
