ADD/ADHD
Individuals with ADD/ADHD experience problems with paying attention, impulsiveness, controlling their behavior, chronic boredom and restlessness, talking excessively, and being hyperactive (overactive). Usually, symptoms appear before age seven, however it is not uncommon for older children and/or adults to be newly identified.

Facts
- Boys are three times more likely than girls to have ADD/ADHD.

- Children with ADD/ADHD may qualify for special education.
