CeDIR Staff

Sharon Hauss joined the CeDIR staff in 1998 to assist with reference work, particularly with families of children with disabilities. Sharon has a B.S. degree in Elementary Education and a M.S. degree in Special Education, both from Indiana University. She has worked at the Institute since 1992, bringing with her a combination of professional as well as first hand experience in the field of disabilities. Her areas of interest and expertise are in families, early childhood issues, education of all children, assistive technology, accessibility and ADA, as well as community living. Sharon's youngest son has a significant physical disability and uses many assistive devices in his daily life.

Sharon Soto joined the CeDIR team as the Center Secretary in February 1995, bringing with her more than nine years of library clerical experience in a public library setting. In May 1997, Sharon was promoted to Library Branch Coordinator in recognition of her increased library and supervisory responsibilities. She continues to oversee circulation of the library collection of over 8,000 print and non-print materials, and to have acquisition as well as dissemination responsibilities for the entire Institute.

Christina Wray joined the CeDIR staff in August of 2006. She has a B.A. in Religious Studies and Fine Press Publishing as well as a Masters of Library Science from Indiana University. Christina has worked as the Multicultural Outreach Assistant for the Indiana University Undergraduate Library Services team as well as providing reference services to diverse groups in the IU Information Commons.
