- Notice Concerning The Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) Amendments Act Of 2008 -The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) outlines the changes to the ADA as a result of the ADA Amendments Act of 2008 (signed into law on September 25.) The Act will be effective as of January 1, 2009.

At the same time, however, employers must make reasonable accommodations that enable individuals with disabilities to meet performance and conduct standards."
