- The Americans with Disabilities Act: Applying Performance and Conduct Standards to Employees with Disabilities -A new fact sheet from the EEOC: "The new guide makes clear that employers can apply the same performance standards to all employees, including those with disabilities, and emphasizes that the ADA does not affect an employer's right to hold all employees to basic conduct standards. At the same time, however, employers must make reasonable accommodations that enable individuals with disabilities to meet performance and conduct standards."
- Questions and Answers: Promoting Employment of Individuals with Disabilities in the Federal Workforce -A new question-and-answer guide "aimed at promoting the hiring and advancement of individuals with disabilities in federal government employment" from the EEOC.
- Best Practices of Accessibility in Parks and Recreation: A Delphi Survey of National Experts in Accessibility | National Center on Accessibility -The National Center on Accessibility(NCA) released a report on best practices for accessibility in Parks and other recreation activities during the summer of 2008. The ADA Amendments Act is the new name for the ADA Restoration Act. This is a result of a compromise between the business and disability communities. Below are some web pages that may be of interest to learning about the ADA Amendments, and following the Act as it moves through Congress.

- John McCain supports expansion of Americans With Disabilities Act - Los Angeles Times -Senator McCain spoke about his support for the ADA Amendments Act during the National Forum on Disabilities on July 26, 2008. He was participating by video conferencing at the event in Columbus, Ohio.
