Audio Conference Overview

The ADA Audio Conference Series is an efficient way to learn or maintain your knowledge of the ADA. The sessions are one hour and a half in length and feature an expert in the topic of the month. The speaker allows time for questions and answers with the audience. The full schedule is available for download as a PDF and Word document.

Guest Speaker Barry Taylor, Legal Advocacy Director for Equip for Equality (the Protection and Advocacy program in Illinois) will update participants on recent case law involving the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Continuing Education Credits

The audio conference provider, DBTAC: Great Lakes ADA Center, is offering CRCC continuing education credits for this session. Please sign-up to receive the documentation letter at the site you attend. You can also receive a Certificate of Participation (please sign-up at the site you attend.)

ADA Audio Conference Locations

Currently, there are 13 locations that are free and open to the public. ADA-Indiana, Indiana Governor's Council for People with Disabilities, and the DBTAC: Great Lakes ADA Center provide sponsorships to 11 organizations to provide the audio conference at no cost in the following communities: Bloomington, Columbus, Fort Wayne, Gary, Indianapolis, Louisville, Merrillville, Muncie, Terre Haute, and Vincennes. The sites in Evansville and West Lafayette are hosted by organizations that make their sites available to the public and at no cost.

Can't make it to one of the Site Locations?

If you are not able to attend at an ADA-Indiana sponsored or other site (which are free and open to the public,) individuals and organizations can sign up for the audio conference through the ADA Audio Conference Series website. Please contact us if you require more information.
