The ADA Amendments Act went into effect on January 1st, 2009. So is the ADA really that different now? Join ADA-Indiana in 4 locations for this information training that will cover what has changed in the "ADA, As Amended", what should you being doing now as an employment professional, and what is to come as far as guidance and enforcement from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
Our trainer for the afternoon was be Peter Berg from the DBTAC: Great Lakes ADA Center based in Chicago. Peter is the ADA Technical Assistance Coordinator and has worked for the DBTAC: Great Lakes ADA Center since 2000. If you have ever called the DBTAC's 800 line (1-800-949-4232) than you have probably talked with him.
