ADA-Indiana released the 3rd Edition of the ADA Report Card for Indiana on Wednesday, July 21 at a Press Conference at the Indiana Statehouse Rotunda. More than 800 Hoosiers responded to the "The ADA in Your Community" Poll (the ADA Poll) conducted by the Indiana Institute on Disability and Community's Center for Planning and Policy Studies.
A “report card” summarizing the results of the ADA Poll can be obtained by downloading the PDF version or the Word/RTF version. You can also contact us and we can send you one by mail.
The 2010 ADA REPORT CARD FOR INDIANA is a follow-up to the ADA Report Card released in 2001, and in 2006. Both times, Indiana communities got a “C Minus”. The ADA Poll was conducted in 2009-2010 to collect information from people with disabilities, families, and other on their perception of how the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is being implemented in Indiana cities and towns.
The ADA Poll and the ADA Report Card for Indiana were funded by the Indiana Governor’s Council for People with Disabilities, and the DBTAC: Great Lakes ADA Center.
