What is Twitter?
The Wikipedia defines Twitter as a "... free social networking and micro-blogging service that enables its users to send and read messages known as tweets." These "tweets" are limited to 140 characters so brevity is a requirement. Please read the Wikipedia article from more information about Twitter.
There is also a new web application called Accessible Twitter that provides a more accessible web interface than the actual Twitter.com. You will still need to visit Twitter.com to set up a Twitter account.
What does ADA-Indiana post on Twitter?
ADA-Indiana intends to post "tweets" about ADA resources, trainings (ADA-Indiana and web-based trainings offered by other organizations), and updates about our activities. Some of the items may be cross-posted on our website, our Facebook fan page, and our Twitter account.
We intend to post 2-3 times a week on Twitter.
