Description:

In preparation for the March 15, 2012 effective date of the new requirements under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) for Hotels and other places of lodging, the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA), Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA), and the ADA National Network are pleased to announce a FREE six-part series of 90-minute webinars (60 minutes content, 30 minutes Q&A) targeting the issues most critical to the hospitality sector.

The Lodging Entities and ADA Webinar Series will feature topic area experts (e.g. Architects, ADA National Network, and U.S. Department of Justice) and will cover key issues include structural changes (safe harbor standards, pools, fitness and recreational areas), reservation policies, customer service, communication access, and finally a Q&A with representatives from the U.S. Department of Justice.

Register for the series to become more informed on the requirements for hotels and other lodging entities and learn about how to get a competitive edge to attract the growing disability/aging market segment with over $220 billion in purchasing power (that’s more than the coveted teen market).
