Your Month, Your Day - Win a Free CWLab "Experience" for your Organization
In recognition of October being designated as National Disability Employment Awareness Month, the Collaborative Work Lab (CWLab) at the Indiana Institute on Disability and Community is giving away one free CWLab “planning experience” to an Indiana organization whose activities support community employment for people with disabilities.
The CWLab planning experience must be related to maintaining or expanding an organization’s program for community employment. For instance, the winning organization might want to use the Collaborative Work Lab for:
- Facilitating a Board Retreat on strategic planning related to employment
- Conducting an in-house survey (such as a SWOT analysis of stakeholders or a satisfaction survey of employees)
- Convening a focus group related to expanding employment opportunities in a community
- Kick-starting a new employment project
How to Participate
The CWLab will be accepting entries via their website through October 31st, 2009. Eligible organizations include those whose activities or programs support the community employment of people with disabilities --- e.g., local service providers, businesses hiring people with disabilities, Chambers of Commerce, Vocational Rehabilitation and Work One offices, Centers for Independent Living, and others. (Please contact us if you have a question about eligibility.)
To register your organization, submit your entry before October 31st.
