MED Works
Premiums:
Many individuals who
participate in the
MED Works
program pay
premiums
for their healthcare
coverage. Premiums
are based on a
sliding fee scale
and are based on:
The gross annual
income
of you and your
spouse (if you are
married) divided by
12.
The
Federal Poverty
Level,
-
If your income
falls at or
between 150% and
350% of the
Federal Poverty
Level you will
pay a premium
-
If your income
falls below 150%
of the Federal
Poverty Level
you will not be
charged a
premium
-
If your monthly
income increases
or decreases,
premiums may be
adjusted.
If Individuals are
paying premiums to
private or
employer-sponsored
health insurance
then premiums may be
adjusted.

2009. If your gross
monthly income falls
within the ranges
listed
your premium will be
adjusted as follows:
