The Center on Aging and Community offers training workshops on a variety of subjects pertaining to older persons with disabilities. We offer these training seminars to any agency in the state of Indiana that works with aging people with disabilities.
The workshops will be beneficial to an agency's staff, direct-care and management teams, and to persons with disabilities and their families. Participants will explore in-depth issues through hands-on activities, group discussions, case studies, short didactical presentations, videotapes and slide presentations. An instructional packet to supplement content covered during the training will be provided.
All sessions can be tailored to fit the specific needs of your organization! CEU credits are available.
Cost: Fees for CAC trainings are negotiable and will, in most cases, be limited to the cost of printed materials (hand-outs). Sponsoring agencies may be requested to pay for travel expenses, meals, or overnight accommodations when incurred.
