      Services in Indiana

Once a child is diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder, it is important to begin to identify needed services and resources. Each child with an autism spectrum disorder is different and each family will have different needs. Examples of services that individuals and families will require include financial assistance programs, advocacy, parent support groups, sibling support and information, respite care, medical care, and training.  Accessing services will differ from community to community.

Below are articles which further explain the various agencies, services and resources in Indiana. In addition, the articles provide details about services offered and the process for accessing these services and organizations.

If you need additional information or would like assistance, please contact IRCA staff member, Marci Wheeler, MSW.  Marci can be reached by phone at (812) 855-6508 or by email at mwheeler@indiana.edu.
