A new book, The Partner’s Guide to Asperger Syndrome, draws on the personal experiences of the authors to provide non-spectrum partners with tried-and-tested strategies and advice on how to overcome these barriers and achieve meaningful relationships.

A new book, "Intimate Relationships and Sexual Health," provides readers with an "all you ever wanted to know but were afraid to ask/teach" curriculum on sexuality tailored to the unique characteristics of high-functioning adolescents and adults on the autism spectrum.

The Center on Education and Lifelong Learning at Indiana University has designed a model for evaluating teacher effectiveness in compliance with a new state law, and it is working with an initial group of 12 Indiana school districts to implement the model.

Cathy Pratt, director of the Indiana Resource Center for Autism at IU's Indiana Institute on Disability and Community, has been named the Shibles Distinguished Visiting Professor in the College of Education and Human Development at the University of Maine for the spring and fall semesters of 2011.

Indiana Resource Center for Autism to Co-Host Screening of 'Wretches and Jabberers' (March 7, 2011)
The Indiana Resource Center for Autism (IRCA) at Indiana University and the Autism Society of Indiana have been selected by the Autism Society of America (ASA) to host two screenings of the film Wretches & Jabberers, on April 16 in Bloomington and April 23 in Indianapolis, to commemorate National Autism Awareness Month.
