Indiana is partnering with large and small businesses throughout the state, helping them reach out to disability communities in their areas to effectively recruit, train, hire, retain and include people with disabilities. The many employers now working with the Corporate Development unit of Indiana Vocational Rehabilitation Services (VRS) are discovering a corporate advantage: Workers with disabilities can be loyal, valuable, productive members of their workforces and add to company diversity and outreach capabilities. The Center on Community Living and Careers supports Corporate Development by facilitating partnerships with area disability and employment service providers and coalitions.
