Presented by the Indiana Vocational Rehabilitation Leadership Academy, this self-directed, self-paced, online training provides professionals with information about the diagnoses, behaviors and treatment of personality disorders and about how to more effectively interact with someone who has a personality disorder as they enter, re-enter or maintain employment.

"Personality Disorders" is the first of three online courses being offered through the Vocational Rehabilitation Leadership Academy's spring mental health series.
The others are:

March 19-April 2, "Addictions" (registration deadline: March 12)

April 23-May 7, "Working with Ex-offenders" (registration deadline: April 16)

This online training and others in the spring 2012 mental health series are part of the Leadership Academy's Advanced Courses. Indiana Vocational Rehabilitation Services counselors and other staff are sponsored through the Leadership Academy.

About the Leadership Academy

 

The Indiana Vocational Rehabilitation Leadership Academy is an online learning environment providing professional development and skills training to Indiana VRS personnel and stakeholders, as well as others with an interest in the field of disability services. 

The Academy is the product of a collaboration between Indiana Vocational Rehabilitation Services and the Center on Community Living and Careers.

Leadership Academy users receive current policies and procedures, suggestions on best practices, and connections to others in the field.  In addition to orientation and a series of Core Courses designed for VR staff, the Academy offers topic-specific and disability-specific Advanced Courses as well as Specialized Courses, featuring information on special initiatives, for VR staff or for other professionals supporting individuals who have unique needs.

 
           
 

Registration for All Others

Staff of community rehabilitation providers, mental health providers, correctional facilities, behavioral support centers, case managers, workforce development personnel, and others are invited to register through our e-store for "Personality Disorders," as well as the other courses in the spring mental health series.
