Peg received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Iowa State University in Leisure Studies and her Master of Science in Recreation Administration from Indiana University.

She has provided technical assistance and support to agency staff and older adults with developmental disabilities around the topics of community membership and self-determination. Peg has co-written and produced videos on person centered planning, community membership and self-advocacy. She has also co-authored several articles, training guides and provided training at the national, state and local level.

Peg is the videographer for the Center on Aging and Community Story Tent. She assists in collecting, editing and producing interviews. The story tent has gathered a variety of stories, including senior living, disabilities, self-advocacy, volunteerism, and relationships.
