Ms. Reichmann joins the Center on Education and Lifelong Learning team from Michigan, where she was an elementary school Social Worker for 10 years in the Detroit metro area. During this time, she led her buildings’ initiatives in School-wide PBIS, in addition to working with students, families, and staff to support both student behavior and academic achievement. Her experience includes working with students from diverse backgrounds, especially those with social and emotional impairments. In addition to her work with individuals and families, Ms. Reichmann facilitated classroom meetings, staff development, and parent groups. She was the lead teacher and coordinator for “Classroom Without Walls”, an extra-curricular program promoting Chinese language and cultural exchange.
