Doug Ryner has the passion to see success on the web and the insight to achieve it. Doug got his start in web development in 1996 while completing his B.S. in Marketing at Indiana University.
As an intern at one of Indiana’s largest advertising agency, Ryner led the development of CoachBobKnight.com. The development of the official website for Indiana University basketball coach Bob Knight not only tipped off Ryner’s web career, it also put the advertising agency into the lead among Indiana web developers. On behalf of the agency, Ryner received the Award of Excellence in the sports category for CoachBobKnight.com at the 1999 International Web Awards in Silicon Valley, Calif. In winning this award, CoachBobKnight.com beat out such sports entrants as the Web sites for Nike, USA Today and the Miami Dolphins.
Throughout his career, Doug has been involved in four other projects that earned International Web Page Awards. Later, Doug spent several years in the academic setting as Web Administrator for the libraries of Indiana University. While there, Doug developed a Content Management System that earned great recognition. Doug has presented his work at conferences across the country and abroad. Doug also co-authored a book chapter on Content Management System Development for Libraries.
Web development is a job, a hobby and a passion for Doug, who works constantly to perfect his web applications.
