Indianapolis ADA Symposium

Mark your calendars and plan to attend the ADA Symposium, scheduled for Indianapolis on May 30th through June 1st at the Hyatt Regency, Indianapolis.

The three-day Symposium will feature national experts from the U.S. Department of Justice, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the U.S. Access Board, and other organizations. Indiana's own National Center on Accessibility (NCA) at Indiana University will host a series of sessions designed for recreation and park professionals.

Joint Presentation at Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality

Melissa Dubie and Catherine Davies, Research Associates with the Institute’s Indiana Resource Center for Autism, will co-present at the Society of the Scientific Study of Sexuality 2012 Joint Meeting of the Eastern and Midcontinent Regions, to be held on May 17-20, 2012 at the Memorial Union, Bloomington. The Dubie/Davies presentation is entitled A Sexual Health Curriculum for Teaching Adolescents/Adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders.

The Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality is an international organization dedicated to the advancement of knowledge about sexuality. The Society brings together an interdisciplinary group of professionals who believe in the importance of both the production of quality research and the clinical, educational, and social applications of research related to all aspects of sexuality.

Join Stone Belt for an interactive workshop on how to access, educate, and advocate to state and national leaders on disabilities issues. This training workshop on legislative advocacy, scheduled for Thursday, June 14 from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the IU Innovations Center in Bloomington, will feature:
