Melissa Dubie is an Educational Consultant at the Indiana Resource Center for Autism (IRCA) at the Indiana Institute on Disability and Community located at Indiana University, Bloomington. Melissa worked in the public school system for eighteen years with students with disabilities. During this time, she was a teacher, coordinator, autism coach and consultant with individuals from preschool thru high school. Since joining IRCA in 2003, she has provided training on sexual health, guiding families and professionals through puberty, and using evidence based practices in the school setting. Melissa travels throughout the state of Indiana providing ongoing support to enhance local capacity with autism teams, administrators, school personnel, and adult service providers to understand the world of autism through an individual’s perspective.
