Information About the Social Security Ticket to Work Program and How Benefits, Earnings and Work Incentives Impact Life for People with Disabilities

Dennis Born taking on regional December 2011 Dennis Born is now senior accounts manager with MAXIMUS for Region 5 of the Social Security Administration Ticket to Work program. Born, a longtime disability advocate, will be providing training and technical assistance to partners providing services in Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. During his past tenure with Aspire Indiana, Born administered several grants and initiatives, including Ticket To Work, supporting individuals with disabilities and assisting them with their employment efforts.
In his new position, Born is responsible for delivering relevant, topical workshops and presentations for ENs, state vocational rehabilitation agencies, workforce development coalitions and other groups. He will also act as a resource to provide information and assist ENs, state VR agencies and other partners to function more effectively and improve services for Social Security disability beneficiaries. |
