Three New Advanced Courses for
Summer 2011
July 18-22 "Personality Disorders"
Aug. 8-12 "Addictions"
Sept. 19-23 "Working with Ex-offenders"
Presented by the Indiana Vocational Rehabilitation Leadership Academy, this online training series provides professionals with in-depth information about how to effectively support individuals with these specific needs. Participants can register to take one, two or all three courses.
Talk to the Expert! Each course will feature a Discussion Forum, which will be moderated throughout the week of the course by an expert who has field experience. The Discussion Forum will also be open for the week after the course concludes to allow additional time for questions, answers, and discussion.

About the Leadership Academy
The Indiana Vocational Rehabilitation Leadership Academy is an online learning environment where professional development and skills training is available for Indiana VRS personnel and stakeholders, as well as others with an interest in the field of disability services.
The Academy is the product of a collaboration between Indiana Vocational Rehabilitation Services and the Center on Community Living and Careers.
Leadership Academy users receive current policies and procedures, suggestions on best practices, and connections to others in the field. In addition to orientation and a series of Core Courses designed for VR staff, the Academy offers topic-specific and disability-specific Advanced Courses as well as Specialized Courses, featuring information on special initiatives, for VR staff or for all other professionals supporting individuals who have unique needs.
Registration for All Others
Staff of community rehabilitation providers, mental health providers, correctional facilities, behavioral support centers, case managers, workforce development personnel, and others are invited to register through our e-store for one, two, or all three Leadership Academy Courses. Registration for non-VR participants is:
