Indiana APSE Logo and LinkLast Call - INAPSE 18th Annual State Conference: Come join the Indiana Chapter of APSE: The Network on Employment and 300 key stakeholders from business, government, education, and disabilities organizations to promote employment for people with disabilities on December 9-11, 2008 at the Holiday Inn North, Indianapolis.

Conference participants will:

Share and obtain new information on tools and techniques utilized to enhance
employment outcomes and the lives of people with disabilities;
Sharpen skills and reignite individual commitments to advancing disability
employment in local communities; and
Gain new knowledge based on research and practical experience.

Indiana’s conference is one of the largest statewide conferences dedicated to the employment of persons with disabilities in the nation. Participants include CEOs, employment providers, advocates, consumer and family members, program managers, direct service personnel, employment specialists, educators, WorkOne staff, mental health agencies, Vocational Rehabilitation counselors, and other state agency personnel.

IIDC Specialty Newsletters: In addition to the Indiana Institute FYI Newsletter, we
publish three additional specialty newsletters that are disseminated via print, fax, e-mail, alternative formats, and posted on the Institute’s Web sites.

Early Childhood Center Logo and LinkThe Early Childhood Center’s e-newsletter, ECC Program Highlights, is disseminated at no charge to Indiana’s early childhood communities. It features abstracts on the Center’s research efforts, training activities, and resources, with links to detailed information on the Center’s website.

Its purpose is to update early childhood professionals and families of children with special needs regarding resources available to them. Disseminated bi-monthly, ECC Program Highlights reaches 4,500 early childhood parents and professionals per edition or 27,000 per year. Interested individuals and organizations may subscribe at no charge by sending an email request to eccenter@indiana.edu.

Indiana Resource Center for Autism Logo and LinkThe Indiana Resource Center for Autism Reporter is disseminated to an audience of nearly 12,000 family members and professionals. The newsletter is distributed three times annually and covers topics including services in Indiana, behavioral and educational strategies, and other forms of techniques for supporting and educating individuals across the autism spectrum. The Reporter is free to Indiana residents. A nominal fee is charged to out of state and out of country subscribers. For more information on subscribing to the newsletter, visit the IRCA website at http://www.iidc.indiana.edu/irca.

Center for Disability Information and Referral Logo and LinkCeDIR Citings, disseminated by the Institute’s Center for Disability Information and Referral, provides updates on Library policies and services, focused bibliographies on select subjects, book reviews, and highlights relevant information tools. CeDIR Citings is disseminated via e-mail and U.S. Mail and is available at no charge.
