This spring, the IIDC’s Center on Community Living and Careers (CCLC) is offering both its Basic Benefits Information Network (BIN) Training and Advanced BIN Training to Indiana professionals.
The next section of Online/Zoom Basic BIN Training begins February 7 and runs through April 15. Online/Zoom Advanced BIN Training begins February 2 and runs through April 8. Basic BIN registration will close on January 28, and Advanced BIN registration will close on January 31.
BIN Basic and Advanced participants are certified in Indiana to serve as BIN liaisons. BIN liaisons who have been certified in Indiana for more than two years are eligible to participate in Advanced BIN Training, which provides recertification and up-to-date information on federal and state benefits and work incentive programs.
BIN liaisons work with community service providers and other agencies across Indiana to help individuals with disabilities and their families navigate the intersection of employment and Social Security, health care coverage, and other services and supports.
