Two researchers from the Center on Community Living and Careers (CCLC) are slated to share their expertise at the annual Maximizing Employment for Individuals with Disabilities conference. Hosted by the Florida Association for Persons in Supported Employment (FL-APSE), the conference runs May 4–6 2022, in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
Representing the CCLC at the FL-APSE conference are Sandy Block and Brady Powers. On May 4, Block presents a primer on making communication materials usable by all.
Powers will hold forth on May 5 in a session called “World Café Approach to Customized Employment.” Powers' presentation focuses on how the talents of the individual job seeker can marry the needs of local employers to craft new positions.
