Jean Updike, M.S.W., C.R.C., is a research assistant at the Institute on Disability and Community at Indiana University. In this position, she is the Project Coordinator for the Indiana Partnership for Education and Careers, a grant from the U.S. Department of Education to develop post-secondary opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Prior to her work on the grant, Updike was employed at Indiana Vocational Rehabilitation Services for 28 years. During her work as Counselor, Area Supervisor, Region Manager, and the Director of Employment, her focus was on transition and employment services. She is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor.
