Peggy Holtz is a Research Associate at the Center for Health Equity (CHE) and is the videographer for CHE. Peggy has collected and edited more than 200 interviews for the center YouTube channel. She has co-written and produced videos covering topics on barriers to health care for persons with disabilities, mental health issues, person-centered planning, and community membership. Over the past five years, Peggy has documented the relationships built between Memory Bridge workshop attendees and residents living in an Alzheimer’s special care center. She is responsible for developing video material for the Indiana Disability History project and web site.
Peggy has developed model fitness routines for older persons and accompanying training materials for professionals. She has co-written training curriculum on physical changes to the body as a person ages and how to enhance physical well-being. Peggy has also co-authored several articles and reports in addition to training at the national, state and local level on health promotion, age changes and community membership.
