Jennie Todd is a Research Associate at the Indiana Institute on Disability and Community at Indiana University Center for Excellence on Disabilities.
She has had the pleasure of working with people with disabilities, their families, their support teams as well as professionals, state leaders and organizations in the field for over thirty years. Her current focus includes self-advocacy and leadership development, promoting community membership and civic engagement, health, wellness and sexuality and developing curriculums and facilitating workshops for persons with disabilities on these and other topics.
Helping people find their voices and share their story through thoughtful interviewing is another focus of Todd’s work. Utilizing the Center on Aging and Community’s Story Tent and our videographer numerous stories have been collected, posted and archived.
Prior to coming to the IIDC, Todd spent 12 years in a multi county day service provider agency in numerous capacities ranging from Social Worker to acting CEO. She was instrumental in piloting several cutting edge programs during her tenure that received national attention.
