- Adriane Griffen, DrPH, MPH - Director of Public Health, Association of University Centers on Disabilities
Dr. Adriane Griffen oversees public health efforts at the Association of University Centers on Disabilities. She has over 16 years of experience in the disability and health field, with specialty areas in health promotion, social marketing, qualitative research, and health education. Her activities focus on building the nation's capacity on public health activities for developmental disabilities and health promotion for people living with disabilities across the age span.
- Beth Marks, PhD, RN - University of Illinois at Chicago, Rehabilitation Research and Training Center on Developmental Disabilities and Health
Dr. Marks is also President of the National Organization of Nurses with Disabilities. She directs research programs related to the empowerment and advancement of persons with disabilities through health promotion, health advocacy, and primary health care.
5 x 5 Pathway to Health Contest - What could you do with $5,000?
Thanks to the Indiana Governor’s Council for People with Disabilities and the Indiana State Department of Health, the Summit will also feature a “5x5” Award competition to engage communities thinking creativity about ways to think about health and wellness opportunities for people with disabilities at the local level.
