IIDC Annual Progress Report

This year has not been without its challenges, yet together we remained focused and resilient. We continued to deliver innovative, high-quality programs that meet the needs and aspirations of people with disabilities, their families, and professionals across Indiana and beyond. Along the way, we also built new collaborations and deepened partnerships at the local, state, national, and international levels, extending both our reach and impact.

Our work is anchored in values that shape everything we do - respect, collaboration, innovation, and excellence. These values guide us as we pursue our vision of a society where people with disabilities are fully included, supported, and valued. Looking ahead, we are energized by the opportunities before us. We will continue to strengthen services, improve outcomes, and engage communities in meaningful ways, while advocating for the rights and dignity of people with disabilities.

Thank you for your continued support. We remain committed to advancing our mission and look forward to the opportunities ahead to deepen our impact and drive meaningful change in the coming year.

Best Regards,

The Indiana Institute on Disability and Community (IIDC), Indiana’s University Center for Excellence in Disabilities, has fostered a foundation of excellence for community investment in developmental disabilities since 1970. Our mission is to work with communities to welcome, value, and support the meaningful participation of people of all ages and abilities through research, education, and service. Our work crosses the lifespan and is conducted across six centers and an Indiana University disability-focused library accessible to all state residents.

The Indiana Institute is a member of the Association of University Centers on Disabilities (AUCD). AUCD is a national association that supports network members in their research, training, education, and service so that together, AUCD and Network members can promote the quality of life, health, and well-being of people with disabilities.
