Kate Wiltz is a research associate at the Eppley Center for Parks and Public Lands (EPPLY) at the Indiana Institute on Disability and Community at Indiana University.

Wiltz designs and develops professional training and visitor education on a variety of topics, including wilderness management, resource protection and stewardship, instruction and group facilitation, and, most recently, accessibility in recreational settings. Wiltz holds a bachelor of arts degree in Anthropology and Environmental Studies from Indiana University, a master's of science in Natural Resources with an emphasis in Environmental Communication, Education, and Interpretation from Ohio State University.

Personal Statement

I am passionate about elevating voices of marginalized communities across all aspects of quality of life and place. I believe that this is best done by meeting people where they are and providing them the support necessary to realize their vision for personal and community wellness.
