Margaret Walsh-Buhi

Dr. Walsh-Buhi is guided by her empathy and curiosity. Her work experiences, over the past 15+years as an accomplished grant writer, evaluator, educator, and programmatic developer have provided her with insight and strategies for working across disciplines and among a range of diverse populations and settings. For all endeavors, she seeks work experiences with individuals and organizations whose aims are focused on furthering initiatives that will advance collaboration and make positive differences in the overall well-being of individuals and their communities. Over the years her research focus areas have included: qualitative methodologies, community-based participatory evaluation, substance abuse prevention, maternal and child health, social determinants of health, and the health and well-being of Native populations.

Degrees

Dr. Walsh-Buhi earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno as well as a Master of Public Health degree, and her Doctorate in Public Health from the University of South Florida. Additionally, Dr. Walsh-Buhi holds a Graduate Certificate in Evaluation from the Center for Research, Evaluation, and Measurement.
