The Indiana Institute on Disability and Community (IIDC) is a leader in disability research and practice. The work of the IIDC is recognized across the state and nation as driving conversations about improving the lives of individuals with disabilities across the lifespan.
Through the work conducted across the seven centers, the IIDC produces a variety of research projects, trainings, development initiatives, and service opportunities. In order to improve communication and public conversations about the work being conducted at the IIDC, the Issue Brief series intends to provide informational material about our work for a variety of audiences, including those with disabilities, their families and caregivers, professionals, and policy makers.
Below you will find the Issue Briefs provided by the IIDC. This list will continue to grow and evolve, and our hope is that you will find this information valuable to help drive the conversations around the improvement of the lives of individuals with disabilities and their families.
