Materials Available for Loan from the Library at the Indiana Institute on Disability and Community
As a member of a multidisciplinary team or as an isolated professional, the SLP (speech language pathologist) often needs access to standardized assessments in language functioning, pragmatics and social skills. It is not always practical for a school district or an agency to purchase extensive speech and language assessment materials. The Library at the Indiana Institute on Disability and Community has a collection of materials that may assist Indiana speech language pathologists.
This collection is a collaborative project supported by Indiana Resource Center for Autism and The Library at the Indiana Institute on Disability and Community.

Selected speech and language assessment instruments are available for preview and loan only to certified speech and language pathologists (SLPs) who reside or work in Indiana. SLPs may wish to borrow the instruments for preview, training, or for limited use to assess students with low incidence disabilities.
The materials may be checked out for four weeks from the Library at the Indiana Institute on Disability and Community, Indiana’s University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities, 1905 N. Range Road, Bloomington, IN 47408-2601; 812-855-9396 or 800-437-7924 (toll-free in Indiana). Due to the sales agreement, a copy of the current SLP license document (i.e., teacher certification or Indiana Professional Licensing Agency) must be on file prior to borrowing materials. Additionally, a Library at the Indiana Institute on Disability and Community registration card must be completed.
Each instrument is available on a first-come, first-served basis. There may be a waiting list for a particular item. Only three items can be checked out at one time per person. People interested in purchasing any of these instruments can contact The Library at the Institute on Disability and Community for ordering information. Inclusion on this list does not serve as an endorsement of the instruments listed by either by IRCA or The Library.
